Mr. Reagan joined Kestrel as Executive Vice President in September, 2004.
Prior to joining Kestrel, Mr. Reagan worked for the twenty-five years as a lawyer, business executive and consultant in the field of production and distribution of motion pictures and television programs. He started his entertainment career at Paramount Pictures Corporation. When Paramount launched its Video Division, he was appointed as its first Vice-President of Business & Legal Affairs. After Paramount, Mr. Reagan served as Senior Vice-President for Business & Legal Affairs for Walt Disney Pictures and Television during the period when Disney built its video division from revenues of $200 million to $3 billion per year. While at Disney, Mr. Reagan was also in charge of the company’s industry leading anti-piracy and video security program. After Disney, Mr. Reagan worked as an executive with DreamWorks SKG during the launch years of the company, before leaving to become Executive Vice-President of MGM Worldwide Home Entertainment and Consumer Products. Mr. Reagan left MGM to join Netflix, the online DVD rental pioneer, as the company's first General Counsel. Mr. Reagan assisted the company in securing revenue sharing arrangements with almost all of the major Hollywood studios, which helped prepare the company to go public. After leaving Netflix, Mr. Reagan created Digital Media Consulting and advised a number of syndication, cable, telco and broadband companies.
Mr. Reagan earned his B.A. degree in literature and philosophy from Le Moyne College and his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law.
